THE FOURTH STAGE OF LUST (THE ACTION STAGE)
L -LURED
U -UNKNOWINGLY into
S -SEXUAL
T -TRAP
Working Scripture: Genesis 3:6
Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
From the underlined parts of our working scripture, as we did for the first and second stages of this teaching, let us mention all the 5 categorical processes or stages that Eve went through in eating the forbidden fruit:
1. She made eye contact with the forbidden fruit and could not take her eyes away from it. {pleasant to the eye).
2. Her heart desired to have a taste of the fruit (a tree to be desired).
3. In between, before she took the fruit, she must have planned how to pluck the fruit.
4. She carried out her heart desire by eating the fruit. She took action (and did eat)
5. Consequently, she became lost to death (God’s judgment).
For the First Stage of Lust, we discussed the contact stage of Lust and mentioned the case of Eve making eye contact with the forbidden fruit.
For the Second Stage of Lust, we discussed the desire stage of lust and mentioned the graduation of Eve’s making eye contact with the forbidden fruit to Eve’s desiring of the forbidden fruit in her heart.
For the Third Stage of Lust, we discussed the planning stage of lust. At the stage, the mind of anyone going through lust is made up to see his/her lust process to the end. Here, he starts making planning to proceed to the 'real' action stage of lust.
In this teaching, we want to talk about the next stage of lust which is the fourth stage and the action stage.
In the action
stage, Youths are eventually lured into sexual trap, fornication.
Fornication is a sexual trap because 1- most youths are lured into it the way a
rat is lured into a trap 2- once, a youth enter into sexual trap of fornication,
he/she cannot go out on his/her own, the way a rat that is caught by a trap
cannot come out on its own.
Many girls have
been lured into this sexual trap with money, recharge card, handset, admission
promise, new clothe, a trip to fast food joint and so on, the way a rat is
lured into the trap with a piece of fried meat set into the trap.
Jeremiah 5:26
26 For among my
people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they
set a trap, they catch men.
A youth that is
inside the trap of fornication needs Jesus Christ to set him/her free. Run to
His feet to delver you. Unfortunately, most youths that enter the trap of
fornication don’t open up.
Excuses and
unrepentance are features of youth that are in sexual trap of fornication.
Rather than confess and repent from fornication, some will say it was a mistake
when they become pregnant (excuse). Some will say they were lured or seduced into
it (excuse). This was a similar way Adam and Eve failed to repent but rather
gave excuse for eating the forbidden fruit and fell into sin trap. Adam pushed
the blame on Eve (excuse) and Eve pushed the blame on the serpent (excuse). Genesis 3:12-13.
The drama acted below was posted on the YouTube by 'The Winlos'. I found it suitable for better understanding of the Topic we are discussing. It shows a lady that was entangled in fornication with a man that consistently beat and yet she could not stop the fornication act with the young man, still. Why? She had been 'Lured Unknowingly into Sexual Trap. And nobody can come out of a trap by himself.
