Adultery is a grave sin and the same goes for stealing. But what happens when both sins occur unconfessed in a marriage. The husband cheated on the wife, while the wife was stealing husband's money. Both never saw any reason why they must confess their adultery and and other sins to their spouse, until the Holy Spirit intervened and helped redirected their paths from the way of hell. This short narration tells a true life story of a couple that would have gone to hell for not confessing the adultery and stealing each did to the other.

'You Are a Thief. Are You Any Better Than Adulterer? 
Sometimes ago, a man went on official duty to another state and slept with another woman, while there. The man later confessed the sin to God, asked for forgiveness and moved on, but never told his wife. One day, while the man was praying, he said he the Holy Spirit said to him that he would not make heaven because he was an adulterer. I am not an adulterer. Why should I not make heaven? The man asked. 

The man said the Holy Spirit told him, 'you cheated on your wife but never sought her forgiveness.' With tears, the man approached the wife to confess that he slept with another woman while he went on official duty. 

The woman became so angry and was fuming with hot temper and rage against her husband. 'You adulterer'. 'You stinking thing'. 'You don't even have shame'. I guess the woman might have used those words or even more harsh words on her husband. 

As the man kept begging while the woman raged on, the Holy Spirit convicted the woman and told her. 'What about you?'. 'Are you not a thief, stealing your husband money and inflating children school fees for your husband?' 'Are you any better than an adulterer'. 'Your husband has removed his own stumbling block'. 'If he dies now, he ll make heaven'. 

The woman burst into tears and immediately forgave the husband. She shared what she heard to the husband and also confessed to the husband that she had been stealing the man's money and also inflating children's school fees for the husband and begged the husband for forgiveness. 

The husband also quickly forgave his wife . He also handed his ATM cards to the woman and shared the PINs with her. He then told her not to steal his money again but to freely take money from his ATM. 

Inner Peace and joy was restored to the family. God had helped their weaknesses. 

Confession of sins brings inner peace and joy

As we await the return of the Lord, Jesus Christ, we need to always repent of our sins before God, and also confess to people we offended, where necessary.

 The Tripartite Impersonations of the End-time False Prophets

Mathew 24:11  

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many

There had always been false prophets since the time of the old testament. However, the Lord, Jesus Christ, prophesied that at the end of time, the time of His return to rapture the saints, there would be proliferation of false prophets, with only one aim – to deceive many people by spiritual means.

Proliferation means rapid increase in the number or amount of something. In other words, there will be a visible but rapid turn out of false prophets/pastors and the likes.

The false prophets, whom will be raised by the devil in the end-time, have one primary assignment – to deceive all human beings, especially Christians and cause them to miss the rapture through the deceptions.

Their mode of operation is mainly by impersonation; a tripartite impersonation; a three-dimensional deception, highlighted below.

-i. Impersonation of the Lord, Jesus Christ

Mathew 24:5  

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 

In recent years, the number of ‘spiritual people’ claiming to be the Lord, Jesus, or God the Father or even the Holy Spirit has risen so high. Once, anyone addresses himself/herself as such, then the person is a false prophet sent out by devil to deceive you. You should not follow them. 

-ii Impersonation of true servants of God through working of signs/wonders

Working of great signs and wonders are supposed to be the hallmark of true servants of God because through such, the gospel will be confirmed and people will believe. However, the false prophets of these end-time will also commit to working great signs and wonders to make people believe they are genuine servants of God and, by such, deceive people to believe them. 

Remember, the magicians/sorcerers of pharaoh also turned their rods to serpent like Moses did.

-iii. Impersonation of the True Gospel

The false prophets will also  be impersonating the gospel. They will be preaching a skewed, perverted message that will lead whoever believe them to hell. 

The bible refers to these messages as another gospel in Galatians 1:8 and doctrines of the devils in 1 Timothy 4:1

1 Timothy 4:1 KJV

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing a spirits, and doctrines of devils;


The following tips are useful to apply to make sure you did not follow a false prophet because of his 'great signs and wonders' and his doctrines of the devils.


-a.  He calls Himself Jesus Christ or New Messiah

-b. He does miracles but does not preach Salvation in Jesus Christ

-c. He commercializes the signs and wonders.

-d. He does signs/wonders for showmanship.

-e. He does not rebuke sin nor warn people of the dangers of sin.

-f. He denies Jesus as the Only Saviour.

-g. He denies the Father and the Son.

-h. He introduces image worship.

-i. He is fetish. He uses to charms and enchantment.

-j. He admits that all religions are serving the same God and brings them together as one for worship.

-k. He does not reference the bible or references other religious books as authority for his preaching

-l. among others.

Based on the above teaching, we can conclude that truly, false prophets abound everywhere. The scripture is fulfilling.

When you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door.

Jesus is coming. Stay ready in absolute Repentance, watchfulness and holiness.

DREAM OF USA ATTACKING CHINA FOR INVADING TAIWAN AND TRIGGERING WORLD WAR

DREAM OF US ATTACKING CHINA AND TRIGGERING WORLD WAR

In the early hours of today, Wednesday, 3rd August, 2022, Nigerian time, I had this dream of War between US/China and leading to the full blown third world war that many people had third Russian/Ukraine war would have triggered.

In the dream, I saw China invaded Taiwan, as reactions to the US, House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, against all warnings from China not to visit. China invaded Taiwan.

They invaded with alot of military men I was even made to be in Taiwan during the invasion to witness everything, including the taking over of the 'goverment house/authority of Taiwan.

I saw the Chinese soldiers addressing a woman with so much rage. In the dream, I thought the woman was Pelosi but I couldn't see her face. I looked backed to see if it was Pelosi but couldn't see the woman as she was surrounded by many people in front of the Taiwan government House.

The next thing, I saw myself in China and immediately I saw American missiles landing on China ferociously for invading Taiwan. I don't know if it was nuclear weapons but they were not the usual conventional weapons. The weapons were so destructive and terrifying and uprooting everything in the vicinity it lands on.

As I was running for my life, I was shouting the World War has eventually begun, the World War has eventually begun.

After that, I woke up extremely terrified and prayed.

 

Spiritual Interpretations and Analysis of the dream

        Revelation 6:3-4 KJV

[3] And when [b]he had opened the second seal[/b], I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

[4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one  another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

 

Revelation chapter 6 is the one that puts Mathew 24 in chronological order in which events will take place before rapture takes place. It involves the breaking of some seven seals. Let me recount.

Revelation 6:1-2

The breaking of the first seal will usher in, the man on white horse, which is the antichrist into the global scene but he will have to wait until after the rapture to take power.

This was achieved with the Corona virus pandemic. It was really the weapon with which the antichrist launch himself to the corridor of world stage,

 

the breaking of the second seal

Revelation 6:3-4

When the second seal was broken, we saw the following things

 -i. A  red horse was released.

Red signifies blood and bloodshed

-ii. The rider of the red horse was given mandate to take away peace on earth.

Absence of peace means wars, violence, bloodshed and more

-iii. the rider of the red horse should ensure people kill one another.

-iv. the rider of the red horse was given a great sword.

Great sword stands for weapons of war

It is the antichrist that was ushered in with the first seal and who is lnow urking around the corridor of global power that will now engineer the whole world into wars, crisis, more pandemics, economic crashes and persecution that will eventually lead to rapture and then, he can grab global power as the antichrist. He, himself was ushered in with the Corona virus.

And that is why immediately after the Corona virus, the second seal which was war was activated with Russia/Ukraine war and which is now to transform into US/China war and the third world war.

The wars will eventually make global economy to collapse.

It is the antichrist that is the brain behind all these crises that eventually enable him to take power after rapture.

Jesus is coming. Stay ready.

DREAM OF ESCALATION OF COMMERCIAL PROSTITUTION IN NIGERIA

Glory to God in the Highest! Amen! On Friday, April 8th, 2022, at about 12.05 p.m. Nigerian time, I had a dream, which is still pointing to the time we are living in, the time of the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

In the dream, I saw the outbreak of prostitution in Nigeria. Young girls in large numbers suddenly give-in to commercial prostitution, even girls that I knew were among those that I saw in the revelation. And they became so bold, so daring, so effrontery in carrying out their trades of prostitution that nobody could even talk to them or ask them, ‘what is this that you doing’?

They were even doing their prostitutions in the open, not in their brothels anymore, but right on the streets, where people could see them, on the streets. They were in different clusters; like a set of three girls and one boy belonging to one cluster, and doing their trades, raw.

It was so scary and there were so many diseases them. Sexually transmitted diseases broke out among them.

I remember, sometimes ago, the Lord revealed to me that LGBT activities are going to rise in Nigeria. I remember, I called for on prayers intercessors to pray against the fulfilment of that dream because that will be a direct invitation to the wrath of God upon Nigeria, if that dream of LGBT is fulfilled.

This is another! I am using this medium to call on intercessors to please pray that God will not allow the situations of Nigeria will not degenerate to the point that our girls will be given to unrestrained prostitutions. Also intercede for security. Intercede that LGBT activities will not escalate in Nigeria. Pray that prostitution and activities of Sodom and Gomorrah will not escalate in Nigeria.

Interpretation of the Dream

Proverbs 30:8

8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: 

9  Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

One of the reasons and excuses that people give for going into crime and sins, especially prostitution, is poverty. It will also be worthy of mentioning that one of the gross abominable acts during the days of Noah was sexual abominations, which include prostitution, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality and the such. However, the Lord, Jesus Christ, said such unrestrained abominable acts will repeat before his coming.

Luke_17:26                                                                                                                26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

If we place the dream under the binoculars of these two scriptures, we can conveniently infer the followings;

-1. Sexual prostitutions, like as in the days of Noah, will skyrocket.

-2. Economic hardship that will push many into crimes and perversions, one of which is prostitution, may also become harsher.

-3. Many more sexual transmitted diseases, especially among commercial sex workers, will spring up.

-4. Sexual abominations of the days of Noah will resurface, rapidly.

In view of these, let us continue to pray for Nigeria that God will bring relief from this present economic crisis Nigeria going on. Let us also endeavor to help ourselves, especially the less-privileged people, campus girls, widows and the fatherless to avoid people going into prostitutions because of hardship and poverty.

-5. Jesus is coming. Stay ready in absolute repentance, holiness and watchfulness.

Rapture is, indeed, imminent.

A Message from the Lord to Believers about Blasphemy

Praise the Lord!

I greet the Body of Christ in Nigeria and all over. I say the peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding be with our Nation, Nigeria, and the body of Christ, generally, in Jesus name.

On Tuesday, 7th May, 2022, about 6a.m. Nigerian time, the Lord, Jesus Christ, gave me a message for the body of Christ in Nigeria, and by extension, the body of Christ, all over the world. And the message is about ‘blasphemy’.

It is a revelation but I am just going to extract the messages in the revelation for us and then, I will look at about two or three bible scriptures to support what I am saying. The key points or messages in the revelation are itemized below.

 

-1. Blasphemy of the name of Jesus Christ is going to escalate;

By this, deliberate, escalated and concerted blasphemy of the name of Jesus Christ to the face of believers and to the face of Christians is going to escalate. The people that are going to be doing the blasphemy are going to be doing it deliberately and provocatively to the face of Christians and to the face of the church. Already, we know that there is an ongoing blasphemy whereby the name of the Lord is used for jokes and comedies, but this is not the type that the Lord is talking about.

The type of blasphemy the Lord is talking about is such that the blasphemer will look at a believer in the eyes and then provocatively blaspheme the name of the Lord and then wait to see what that believer would do.

-2. The Lord says we should not react when we encounter such blasphemy.

Though, it may pain us, as believers, or make our hearts become embittered when the name of the Lord is blasphemed deliberately and provocatively to our eyes. The Lord said we as believers should not fight, not argue with, not insult the blasphemer, not create any scene. Just live the scene peacefully without doing anything.

-3. If it is possible, pray for the blasphemer, behind the scene.

-4. If it is possible, look for another day and occasion to reach to the blasphemer.

-5. As the Lord wills, He might be saving some of the blasphemers and converts them to himself and use them for his glory.

Apostle Paul was once a persecutor of the church, and by extension, must be a blasphemer of the name of the Lord, before God had mercy on him and he ended up being used by the Lord even beyond all the places where he had persecuted the people of the Lord.

We know what happed in Nigeria recently in Nigeria where a young Christian girl, Deborah Samuel, was stoned to death and her dead body was eventually set ablaze by her accusers for a ‘so-called-blasphemy’ of their religion. God is the Righteous Judge and He will judge all the actions of men for what they had done, including those of the killers of the young girl.

Let us look at what the scriptures say about blasphemy.

First scripture

2 Timothy 3:1-2

1     This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.                                                                                                         

2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 

 

From the scripture above we can see that the rise of blasphemers/blasphemy is one of the signs of the end time. There is an ongoing blasphemy of the name Lord, Jesus Christ, and the Lord has been opening my eyes to see those cases of blasphemy, here and there, even those that seem to be hidden blasphemy.


Let us look at another scripture

 

Second scripture

Revelation 13:1,5,6

1  And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

 

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 

 

6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 

 

This personality that rose out of the sea is the antichrist. Three things are of special note about this personality. They are

 

-i. Upon his head the name of blasphemy was written.

 

-ii. His mouth was given to speaking blasphemies

 

-iii. He blasphemed God, the throne of God and all that dwell in heaven.

 

Blasphemy is one of the names pf the antichrist. And anyone that receives the mark of the beast in his forehead or in his right hand is going to be receiving the name of the beast, blasphemy, on his own head, too, because the mark represents the name and the number of the beast. Such a person that receives the mark of the beast in his forehead is going to be given to much blasphemies like the beast; blaspheming God, the throne of God and the saints of God. That person will certainly become like another beast. That might be the reason it might be impossible to restore whoever receives the mark of the beast.

 

The blaspheming of the name of the Lord is actually going to increase and it is the antichrist that is going to be engineering the blasphemy through his spirit that already roaming the earth and moving people to blaspheme the name of the Lord, may be for the purpose of inciting people to violence or causing religious crisis.

 

One time, the Lord showed me some satanists in their temple or better still, coven. They prostrated face down and were praying very seriously with all their strengths. Then the Lord made me to hear the contents of their prayers. It was a gross blasphemy of the of the name of the Lord. They were saying some unthinkable things against the Lord, Jesus Christ – things that are even difficult for me to narrate.

 

Let us look at one more scripture.

 

         Third scripture

            

         Revelation 17:1-3

1  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 

 

2  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 

 

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 


In this scripture, we can also see the whore of Babylon also full of names of blasphemy. Not only was the whore of Babylon full of the name of blasphemy, she was the one responsible for the death of all the martyrs of Jesus Christ.

DREAM OF A VOMITING PANDEMIC COMING UPONG THE EARTH!

 Praise the Lord!

On Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, at about 1.28 a.m. Nigerian time, I had a dream, a very scary one, very frightening.

In the dream, I was summoned to a place on the road and there was a conversation. In the conversation, I was told that a disease is coming, a sickness is coming upon the earth. The name of the disease was even written for me. The name contains 5 letters of the English alphabet. The name was written in cursive handwriting and because of that it was very difficult for me to read but I think it was ‘VODIS’ which I guessed was coined from ‘Vomiting Disease’.  I remember, I looked at the name very keenly and found it difficult to read because it was written with a cursive handwriting which was a curvy way of writing. So, after trying to read the cursive word for some time, I concluded that the best fit for the word was ‘VODIS’.


Then the Voice said to me that because they have rejected His Warnings, His crys and His callings for Repentance, and that they have not hearkened to His Voice, and that because of that rejection, a new disease is coming upon the face of the earth. As I was being told all these things, I understood clearly what He was saying.

I was made to know that this new disease that was said to be coming would be characterized by vomiting. The disease is characterized by vomiting.


Immediately the Voice finished talking with me that the disease is coming, I replied and said, ‘Let it be so according to the Word of the LORD’. After saying that, I quickly added that, ‘Let me quickly cover myself and my family with the blood of Jesus against the coming disease. Then, I quickly started to pray to cover myself and my family from the disease that I was told was coming and characterized by vomiting. Then the dream ended.


I woke up, picked up my phone and quickly recorded the dream. I also prayed to cover myself, my family, Nigeria and Africa from the said-to-be-coming vomiting Pandemic.

This is the second time I am receiving such a dream. In the first dream, some few weeks earlier, I saw a lot of children and all were vomiting and I said a statement like ‘this is a vomiting pandemic’.


SPIRITUAL ANALYSIS AND THE MESSAGES OF THE DREAM

For the spiritual analysis of this dream, let us go to the following scriptures.

Genesis_41:32 

32 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

 

Proverbs 1:22-32

22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners

delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

 

23  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 

 

24  Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 

 

25  But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 

 

26  I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 

 

27  When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 

 

28  Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 

 

29  For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 

 

30  They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 

 

31  Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 

 

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. 

 

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. 

 

In the scripture above, God was making a serious lamentation about how all His efforts to correct man and turn them away from their evil and wicked ways vehemently was rejected, the consequences for such rejection and. Let us group them as follow.


God’s Complains against Man’s Total Rejection of His Way

-i. His call unto men for repentance and to turn away from wickedness was refused by man (verse 24).

-ii. His outstretched arm of peace and reconciliation unto man was disregarded by man (verse 24).

-iii. His counsels to man was set at nought, that is, His counsels were regarded as nothing by man (verse 25)

-iv. His reproofs and corrections would not be hearkened to, by man (verse 25).

 

Consequences of Man’s Rejection of God's  Way


In verse 29, God refers to all His good gestures, towards man, mentioned above as knowledge and fear of God

29  For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 

 

30  They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 

 

31  Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 

 

Verse 29-32 above are telling of actions and consequences. The word, ‘for’ that begins verse 29 can be replaced with ‘because’. The word ‘therefore’ in verse 31 can be replaced with ‘then’. And as such we can paraphrase the scripture above to mean that because man hates knowledge and fear of God, then the consequence for man will be to eat the fruit of their actions.


And what are the consequences for this man’s rejections of God? They are contained in verses 26-28. Let us mention them.


-i. calamity will come upon man, (verse 26).

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 

 

An online dictionary defines calamity as an event causing great and often sudden damage or distress; a disaster. Examples of calamity include flood destructions, earthquake, wildfire, pestilences, drought and more.

 

Let us see what the Lord, Jesus Christ, says, in the book of Luke 21:11 concerning such calamitous events happening in these last days.

 

Luke 21:11                                                                                                                                        

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 

 

The coronavirus pandemic inflicted an untold calamity upon all nations of the earth and people.

 

-ii. Fear will come upon man (verse 26).


Proverbs 1:26                                                     

36 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;


Can you compare this with what the Lord, Jesus Christ, says in Luke 21:26 about fear coming upon the hearts of men because of what will come upon the earth, in the last days?


Luke 21:26 

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 


The coronavirus pandemic sent a shivering fear in all nations of the earth and across all races and tribes.

 

-iii. Distress and anguish will come upon man (verse 27).


Proverbs 1:27                                                                                                                                     

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 

 

Similarly, let us compare the scripture above with the warning the Lord, Jesus Christ, gave us in Luke 21:25 of distress and perplexity coming up all the nations of the earth in these last days.


Luke 21:25 

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 


The coronavirus pandemic really brought a massive distress, anguish and perplexity upon all nations of the earth and mankind in general.

-iv. God, also will not listen to man in the time of man’s trouble (verse 28).


Way Out of the coming judgement of Vomiting Pandemic

Proverbs 1:33                                                                                          33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. 

The way out of the coming judgement is to quickly hearken unto God’s call for repentance, turn away from all evils and have the fear of God. The way to be spared of the coming vomiting disease is to hearken diligently unto God.


The Interpretation and Messages of the Dream

Based on the scriptural analysis above, the following interpretations can be arrived at.

-1. Because of this generation’s continuous rebelliousness towards God and not hearkening to His calls for repentance in these last days, God has decreed continuation of pestilences and pandemic.


-2. A pandemic of vomiting is coming upon the nations.


-3. The pandemic is going to bring distress and anguish upon the nations.


-4. Only those who fear God and have hearkening to the voice of repentance of God will be covered from the coming pandemic characterized by vomiting. Pray in advance and ask God for mercy to cover you and your family from the coming pandemic.


-5. Jesus is coming. Stay ready in absolute repentance, holiness and watchfulness.

What I Learnt From The Holy Spirit About Forgiveness

A little over a decade ago, one of my friends owed me one thousand US ($1000) dollars and did not pay back because he was bankrupt. About the same time, while I was expecting my friend to pay me back, I also borrowed about 200 dollars from one of my other friends to run a business. The business ran at a loss.

Now, I needed to pay back the $200. I made payment appointments on about two different occasions with my friend that borrowed me the $200 but I could not meet up with the payment. 

One day, while inside a BRT bus in one of the popular Lagos bus terminus, heading to a destination and waiting for the bus to be filled up, I called the friend I owed $200 to beg him for another payment plan. To my surprise, he told me, he forgave me the money and that I should not pay it again. He said we were best friends and that he believed, I would have paid back the money, if I had. That was a very great relief to me and I was happy.

While, I was still inside the same bus, happy that my debt had been waived, the Spirit of God told me that I have just been forgiven my debt, that I should pick my phone and call my other friend that owed me $1000 and also forgive him his debt. In obedience, I picked the phone and called him not to pay the $1000 debt again. He was happy as well.

Now, that would not have made so much sense to me just as it would not have made much sense to most people. Why should the Holy Spirit asked me to waive a debt of $1000 to another person because someone waived a debt of $200 to me? It would have made more sense to me, as a human being, if the Holy Spirit had financially blessed my debtor so that he could pay me back my $1000 debt and then I would take $200 from it and pay my own debt and then still had a whole $800 to cater for my family and still had some money to fill my pocket.

But guess what? The way of God is different. I believed that God wanted to teach me forgiveness and that I could not fully understand the gravity of forgiveness unless he taught me to forgive things that are painful to me. By so doing, I would have been used to forgiving 'perceived' painful offences and then to forgive ‘perceived’ little offences will not be so difficult.

Also, the Holy Spirit was teaching me that the face value or weight or gravity of offence does not matter to when God when in to comes to forgiveness but that what matters to God is whether forgiveness is granted or not. To the Holy Spirit, someone had forgiven me my debt and so I should forgive another person, his debt. He was concerned that forgiveness was done and not how much was forgiven. If I were to consider that how much was involved, I could have even gotten my debtor arrested, retrieve my money and then pay my own debtor. But the Holy Spirit was interested in something much more important. The way of God is truly different and unsearchable.

Can you remember the parable of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 15:3-5 that if a man had a hundred sheep, and one is lost, that man is supposed to leave the ninety-nine behind and go to look for the single one that was lost? Now, to most human being, that will not make sense. They will ask, 'Supposing something bad happen to the ninety-nine before I come back?' Let me just leave that one sheep to get lost like that’. But God is interested in every single sheep like the other.

If your boss at the office forgave your coming late to office, then you forgive the bus conductor that abused you in the bus. Forgiveness is forgiveness; it has nothing to do with weight or gravity of offence. If your friend could forgive you the lies you told him, then you should forgive your wife of her adultery.

It is like that.  If anyone can forgive you any offence, no matter how little you perceived the offence to be, then you must forgive your offender of any offence that is committed against you, no matter, how big you perceived the offence to be, including adultery.

This is similar to how masses frown when court sentenced citizens that stole a supposed minor items into prison. You often hear statements like ‘why should they sentence someone to prison for stealing ten thousand naira when there are many government officials stealing billions? But rather than viewing the two stealings as being punishable offences, they are try to ascribe punishability of offence to the weight of what was stolen. 

Jesus is coming.
